Summer is just around the corner and we are gearing up for Community Summer Camp!!!!

We are so excited to offer this program for a third year, and we are pleased to bring the program to even more families.

Community Summer Camp has been designed to provide your child with some very unique therapeutic opportunities. Our mission is to bring together a small community of children who are working toward the same goals of functional Independence in daily life and relationships out in the community to explore a range of activities and experiences.

We aim to provide this community of children with a therapeutically dynamic experience that will bridge skills addressed in the clinic with vulnerable skills that are present in a community setting, where peer dynamics and expectations are always changing. Each week we will visit a new setting exploring a variety of community options throughout the summer.

This Camp brings together real life peer challenges such as negotiating, sharing, and social problem solving, while providing appropriate sensory motor activities that support regulation and continued growth in varying community settings.

Camp will be run by Megan Carrick MOTR/L, Felisha Drake, MOTR/L and Julie Sutton, MOTR/L. We will also be joined our OT Aide David Carrick, with additional support from our student interns.

Camp Details

We are offering two 4 week sessions and will be held on Monday and Wednesday in Libertyville and Tuesdays and Thursdays in Northfield. For more information please contact Megan Carrick MOTR\L at :

Camp will run form 10:00 AM - 1:30 PM. 

The first 4 week session will run from June 16 – July 10 th

The second 4 week session will be held July 14 th – August 7 th .

Applications are now being accepted. Each 4 week session is limited to 10 children so please submit your child's application as soon as possible. (click here to download the application)

Cost - Each 4 week session will cost $1,560.00

A nonrefundable deposit of $100.00 will be due upon registration and later applied to the total cost of camp. Each week of camp ($390.00) will be billed to the credit card on file and an invoice for submitting to your insurance will be mailed to you at the end of each week.

Each week will highlight a new theme and some of those themes include, rock climbing, hiking, biking, bowling, swimming, boating, and miniature golfing.  Each child will receive a trophy and a picture book with stories and highlights from the summer.  We are very much looking forward to this summer and cannot wait for the fun to begin.
